you got served and we get the black chick (B) in the end

Because I cannot tackle "Don Dawn" C. with difficult words, this is in protest of her cyberbulliage because she loves the Amish enough to dream about them making butter and songs.

A General Consensus of What's UNcool

Now, I ain't no Cool Kid (the whole blog can attest to that) but I think that there are some unspoken societal laws that specify which interests, activities and circumstances people should not mention aloud in public, ie. crying while reading New Moon, when Edward Cullen left Bella all by her lonesome in the woods-- Not that that has happened to me.... Never!

The whole point of the post is not about the verity of a certain person crying over Edward and Bella (save that for another day), but about my dear friend's obsessive love for the movie, Alvin & the Chipmunks.

On multiple occasions, my dear friend has tried to convince me how cool this movie was and each time I responded with incessant head shaking and heavy sighs. I thought it was just a phase, but I knew it was serious when her love has moved past the movie and onto the soundtrack.
"Alvin and the Chipmunks made some cool rap songs. They're like cute bad gangsters who dont swear," she said.

Man oh man.

Fortunately for my friend, she is endearing enough to pull off such a disgusting love for chipmunk voices. However, I am fully aware that no one else can admit this without losing face. So I leave you with this reminder, if ever you are uncertain as to whether or not you are about to delve into uncool territory when discussing music with your peers:

Are we cool yet?

Nope, we aren't.

The fruition of this blog is all due to my friend, KC, who is convinced that our pairing is that of losers who have horrible planning skills and lack any cool factor. Well, I disagree.

Although I am appalled that she would even think of including me in the loser group, I feel the need to prove to her that we ARE cool, albeit the dorkiness! As a result, we are on a mission to up our worldliness by broadening our horizons outside our sheltered bubble lives.
